Extremely rare and fully original “Minerva seating group” designed by the renowned Danish design duo Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen in the 1950s.

This exceptional ensemble represents the pinnacle of Scandinavian modernism, combining elegant proportions, modular functionality, and luxurious materiality. The design and overall presence of the set are distinguished by their refined balance between minimalism and warmth.

The composition features a striking combination of teak, rattan, wool, and chrome, creating a sophisticated contrast between natural and industrial materials. The minimalist teak frames and chrome backrests allow the pieces to be placed freely within a room, making them visually appealing from all angles.

The set retains its original finish and original padded wool upholstery in a subtle grey-green tone, which remains in excellent vintage condition. The accompanying FD516 coffee table and FD418 corner table both feature original rattan shelves and are preserved in near-perfect condition. The set also includes two original teak-and-chrome armrests, which can be repositioned or removed as desired for flexible configuration.
